Bahía del Duque supports Canarian fashion at VI edition of Tenerife Fashion Beach Costa Adeje

The Tais Hotels & Villas hotel is collaborating with this outdoor catwalk show which is a great showcase for Tenerife as a destination throughout year

Bahía del Duque is supporting the Canarian fashion industry and local brands as a collaborating hotel during the VI edition of Tenerife Fashion Beach Costa Adeje TFBCA. Once again, The Tais Hotels & Villas is taking part this year by hosting some of the models and designers of the catwalk show, which has taken place from 1 to 4 November in the south of the island.

The hotel also joined this new edition and hosted the opening event, which is already a benchmark in the Canarian fashion industry. It provides a great showcase for Tenerife as a destination for catwalk shows, film shoots, and outdoor events throughout the year, thanks to its good climate.

The TFBCA involves the participation of over 20 companies: 11 swimwear brands, supported by ten brands specialising in accessories. They all presented their new beach and pool collections with the natural setting of the Playa del Duque beach and a unique sunset as the backdrop.

Supported by the Island Council of Tenerife and the Council of Adeje, and sponsored by Promotur (Government of the Canaries), this edition features Lola Casademunt as the guest designer and the model and actress Inés Sastre as the ambassador. Along with the international top model and TVE presenter Nieves Álvarez, as hostess of the event.

The Director General of Bahía del Duque, Cristina De Juan, acknowledges that “at Grupo CIO and Bahía del Duque, we maintain a strong bond with local companies and businesspeople, as we are aware that they form part of the set of attributes of the destination. With our support of Tenerife Fashion Beach Costa Adeje, we want to continue to contribute to the development of the fashion sector, which does so much to showcase our island as a quality holiday destination throughout the year.”
