Las Villas are located in the heart of the hotel, the place where Bahía del Duque has created a unique gastronomic experience that combines luxury, sophistication, and the pleasure of enjoying a floating brunch or dinner in a private pool.
A Floating Brunch is the new exclusive service that Bahía del Duque offers at Las Villas. This set of unique gastronomic experiences enables its guests to enjoy an exquisite brunch or a surprising dinner in the private pool of their villa.
These menus, conceived to offer its guests a sensory experience including flavours from all over the world are designed to be savoured inside the swimming pool while enjoying a pleasant swim.
The magnificent climate of Tenerife, the island of the eternal spring, allows Las Villas clients to enjoy this experience at any time of year.
An exclusive floating brunch in a unique setting
Few pleasures can be compared to enjoying a good brunch in the private pool of an exclusive villa under the sun of the Canary Islands. Bahía del Duque surprises its guests again with a culinary proposal with a special focus on local ingredients.
The Food & Beverage team of the hotel, a member of The Tais Hotels & Villas, have created two menus to awaken the senses. The lighter and fresher one called ‘Healthy Floating Brunch’ includes Bircher muesli and berries; Pineapple from El Hierro, papaya, and kiwi; Toast with avocado and extra virgin olive oil; Toast with smoked salmon and multivitamin juice.
The ‘Diamond Floating Brunch’ is the ideal choice for those who want to indulge themselves with a luxury experience. Caviar, blinis and sour cream; Benedict eggs with avocado and wild asparagus; Cookie, mascarpone cheese, and strawberries. All these small pleasures will be served with Taittinger Brut.
A dream dinner in an idyllic private setting
Imagine a pool lit up with candles and decorated with fresh roses. This will be the setting to enjoy a unique culinary experience of a superior level.
The Floating Dinners has been created by the Bahía del Duque team in its search for a very tailored and exclusive service for its guests. True to the taste for exquisite pleasures that make the difference of The Tais Hotels & Villas, the hotel has carefully designed two menus.
The ‘Tropical Floating Dinner’ presents dishes like salmon tartar with passion fruit and avocado, a feast of tropical flavours combined with the freshness of the sea; Aguachile with Warsaw grouper, a fresh, spicy and vibrant dish; Bio beetroot humus with Carasau bread, the healthiest and most colourful touch of this menu; Mini-Wagyu burger, a delicious premium quality hamburger; Toast with blue-fin tuna and smoked chipotle pepper, a spicy version of this classic toast; Watermelon and cucumber gazpacho, a refreshing and tasty cold soup; Strawberries with chocolate, the finishing touch for this tropical experience.
The ‘Luxury Floating Dinner’ starts with selected caviar and golden blinis; Red prawns tartar with mango and lime, a perfect combination of sea, sweet and citric flavours; Bao bread with Norwegian salmon and sriracha sauce, the fusion between Asia and Scandinavia in a single snack; Salmorejo Cordobés with Iberian ham, a cold tomato and bread soup with Andalusian flavour; Toast with blue-fin tuna and smoked chipotle pepper, a spicy and smoked touch to awake your senses; last but not least, Macarons and berries to perfectly finish this delightful dinner.
