Enjoy yoga like never before at Bahía del Duque

The hotel of The Tais Hotels & Villas is the ideal place to relax your mind and rejuvenate your body by practising this discipline

In the midst of a world that seems to never stop, yoga emerges as an anchor of serenity and balance. This age-old practice, created in the East and present among the range of activities at Bahía del Duque, combines fluid movements, mindful breathing techniques and deep meditation.

Recently, everyone has been talking about yoga, and with good reason. An increasing number of people are choosing to immerse themselves in peaceful retreats, fully devoted to yoga, meditation, and wellbeing. These havens are located in peaceful settings, in the heart of nature, among beaches of fine sand or mountains.

Rooted in Costa Adeje, in southern Tenerife, Bahía del Duque hotel is one of those oases where peacefulness is found alongside luxury. The calm of this place and its natural environment helps to connect body, mind, and soul. Inspired by the Canary Islands’ architecture of the 19th century, this coastal setting is part of an idyllic landscape next to El Duque beaches. Thanks to its 63,000 square metres of tropical gardens, the hotel offers an unquestionable connection with nature and its balance.

This link is amplified in the yoga sessions that take place at Bahía del Duque. Guided by an expert instructor and a personal coach, participants can explore different positions, breathing and meditation techniques. Its classes are designed to adapt to all skill levels, from beginners to those with more advanced knowledge.

At the heart of this experience is Nanni Tanani, our international yoga teacher with E-RYT500 and YACEP certifications. Her holistic approach is shown in every class, blending the traditions of Hatha and Vinyasa with the mysteries of Himalayan Kundalini. Nanni’s teachings, offered in six languages, offer a deep guide to move towards internal connection.

Participants can enjoy this unique experience in a private session, which they leave completely revamped and relaxed. Personalised classes cost €150 and last for 60 minutes.

According to Nanni, “Yoga transcends physical positions. It is a pathway to connect with the essence of the soul and find balance in all aspects of life. My sessions offer a variety of styles and techniques adapted to specific intentions. From finding inner peace to embracing personal empowerment. At Bahía del Duque, you will experience a genuine practice that encompasses bodily, mental, and spiritual levels.”

In order to complete this wellbeing experience, participants can accompany yoga with other personalised mindfulness or coaching sessions.
