The hotel aims to win award in the best Hotel and Resorts category of the Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards 2022

Bahía del Duque has once again established itself as one of the best hotels in Europe, by receiving a nomination for the exclusive Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards 2022 in the ‚Hotels and Resorts‘ category’. The hotel of The Tais Hotels & Villas, is competing to obtain this award and add it to the more than 50 national and international awards obtained since opening.

The awards, celebrating their 25^th anniversary this year, are solely based on the votes of readers, who will choose their favourites among the nominees in each category. These prestigious hotels include Bahía del Duque, which has been recognised for its service, facilities and location.

The managing director of the hotel, Cristina de Juan, is satisfied and proud of this nomination as she considers it „recognition for the effort and personalised and meticulous treatment that Hotel Bahía del Duque provides for every client”. Also, she highlighted the establishment´s vision of maintaining high standards of excellence and exclusivity as its distinctive hallmark.

The hotel, located on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean, recreates a traditional 19th century colonial-style villa and has a wealth of details to ensure its guests enjoy a pleasant stay, as well as its Bahía Wellness Retreat, a complete area devoted to wellbeing and equipped with the latest new developments that, in addition to allowing guests to relax, also make it possible for them to pamper themselves in a unique setting.

Voting will close on 30 June and the results will be announced in the November issue of Condé Nast Traveller, which will go on sale in October, and via all the social and digital channels. Among the registered users who have voted, there will be a prize draw for a two people to travel from Stockholm to Bergen with Viking Cruises.
