The jury of the awards recognised the offer of the hotel of the group The Tais Hotels & Villas among the best luxury hotels.
The hotel Bahía del Duque received the Beyond Luxury Awards in the Best Hotel Wellness Experience category. The jury of these awards, which distinguish the best luxury hotels in Spain and Portugal of the year, recognised the wellness experience offered to guests and visitors of Bahía Wellness Retreat, the hotel spa of the group The Tais Hotels & Villas.
Bahía del Duque invites you to discover relaxing and renewing 360º experiences. With its concept of a “Wellness Universe“, the hotel has developed a complete programme of rituals and personalised treatments carried out by an expert team of therapists, trainers and physiotherapists.
Located in the heart of the hotel, Bahía Wellness Retreat combines the relaxing power of seawater, the sun energy and the volcanic rocks. The experience in the outdoor thalassotherapy circuit starts in the Vitality Pool with a two-metre waterfall, hydromassage jets and bubble beds. The relaxation continues in the hammam, saunas, Scottish and bucket showers, a cold water pool and an outdoor solarium with shaded relaxation areas.
Surrounded by gardens and vegetation, it features treatment cabins outdoors, two private suites, a Kinesis, Pilates and Yoga hall, a fitness centre, a physiotherapy area, a Face-Coach service (facial training), a beauty salon and a Thai Room Spa to experience the soothing properties of traditional Asian therapies.

This new award joins the Best Destination Spa 2023 which was recently awarded to the hotel Bahía del Duque by Condé Nast Johansens and the prize awarded by readers of the luxury, travel and lifestyle magazine Condé Nast Traveler which in the last edition of the Readers’ Choice Awards recognised the hotel as one of the best in the world.
The Beyond Luxury Awards were created with the aim of incentivising and rewarding excellence in luxury tourism. The ceremony, held in the Hotel Finca Cortesín in Marbella, brought together 50 representatives from the best hotels in Spain and Portugal among winners and nominees in each category.
