Wellness and delicious cuisine come together to create a special plan for two that includes access to our open-air thalassotherapy treatment circuit at Bahía Wellness Retreat and an exquisite appetiser tasting experience, for which the prestigious team of chefs of Hotel Bahía del Duque has developed four menu proposals. In addition, the experience can be topped off with a 60-minute couple’s massage or a 90-minute holistic ritual performed in one of our exclusive private suites.

Inspired by the magical nature of the Island of Tenerife, Bahía Wellness Retreat combines indoor and outdoor spaces to create a complete sensory experience. A two-metre waterfall gives way to the thermal bath area, which includes a spectacular open-air vitality pool where hydromassage jets and bubble features merge with the therapeutic benefits of seawater extracted directly from the Atlantic Ocean.

The experience of serenity at Bahía Wellness Retreat is complemented by a hammam, saunas, Scottish showers, cold plunge pool, and outdoor solarium with shaded relaxation areas. Words cannot describe the dreamlike atmosphere of the thermal bath area –featuring the sound of the water, the gentle breeze, and the warmth of the sun– at dusk, when the chromotherapy system is activated.

To regain strength in an intimate and romantic setting, the hotel has designed a special Valentine’s Day menu with four options to choose from, like the Love & Passion option, the most seductive of them all, which includes a bottle of Taittinger Brutt and berries. The Mediterranean Style option, refreshing and revitalising, consists of caprese, Caesar, or mixed salad, pineapple carpaccio, and two multi-fruit juices. Likewise, Colours and Flavours includes a wrap, sandwich, or bao buns (filled with vegetables or tuna), a selection of fruits, and multivitamin juice. The last of the options, Spanish Touch consists of Iberian ham, an assortment of cheeses, beef sirloin carpaccio, and a bottle of wine (Palacio de Bornos, Gran Feudo or La Planta). The prices for these experiences range from 135 to 385 euros.

For the true foodies, Bahía del Duque celebrates Valentine’s Day with a suggestive tasting menu that will be served in one of our most exclusive areas: the lounge terrace of Las Villas. This exquisite culinary proposal consists of a starter featuring oysters, yuzu, and Taittinger Brut Imperial; followed by white asparagus cream, Boletus mushrooms, and caviar. Next: risoni, sea urchin, and Carabineros prawns. The main course is flaming sirloin. The finishing touch is a romantic dessert called “Tú & Yo” – a treat that will surprise even the most demanding of diners.
