In London Bahía del Duque receives the award for the “Best Service in Europe”
Bahía del Duque, which is owned by Compañía de las Islas Occidentales (CIO), has received the award for ‘Best Service’ from the Condé Nast Johansens reference guide. The hotel has received this recognition at the 2019 Awards for Excellence, given annually by the international publishing house in London, a benchmark in the travel sector.
The Condé Nast Johansens awards, which have more than 36 years of experience in the inspection and recommendation of international establishments, are given in recognition of the work carried out by the best hotels in the world to foment the luxury travel market.
The Bahía del Duque Hotel has been chosen among all the recommended hotels both on the web and in the most recent guides of the publisher through on-line voting, guest evaluations and reports issued by local experts who have recognized the high-quality service and attention given to guests that distinguish the Canarian hotel.
Bahía del Duque’s management team received the award in the category of Best Service in Europe and the Mediterranean at a gala held last night at the The May Fair Hotel in London.
Luxury, exclusivity, excellent services and dreamlike facilities are some of the variables that have placed the service offered by this Tenerife hotel among Europe’s very best.
The director of the Hotel, Cristina de Juan, believes that “this prestigious recognition is a reward for the effort and dedication of the entire team, which also reinforces the commitment that Bahía del Duque has made in the pursuit of excellence and exclusivity as a sign of identity.”
The Bahía del Duque Hotel, which has been celebrating its 25th anniversary throughout 2018, has consolidated itself as a stable, established reference in the luxury tourism sector throughout the world after its long trajectory.
The Hotel is also currently presenting its proposal of excellence in the new edition of the World Travel Market
The award ceremony coincided with the celebration of the World Travel Market (WTM), also being held in London these days. Bahía del Duque is attending the fair to present its proposal of excellence and high-quality services, in addition to maintaining professional contacts with the main travel agencies and specialised international wholesalers to publicise its novelties, such as the recent renovation of its Casas Ducales, among others.
The Casas Ducales recreate a Colonial Hacienda, whose design is inspired by the Dehesa Martí Palace (1912) and the Maffiotte House (1926), architectural icons in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and include some of the exclusive services that distinguish the hotel, from private solariums to personalised butler service.
With its participation in this important international meeting, Bahia del Duque has transmitted Canary Island culture, reflected both in its colonial architecture and in the staff uniforms, inspired by the region’s traditional clothing. And for another year, the hotel’s offer of gourmet cuisine has been highlighted, a service with high added value that offers a trip around the world through flavours.
